Getting started

Wolfgang Braun

An ugly picture, a ‘who’s good, who’s bad, who’s chicken, who’s egg’ kind of metaphor a possible student-teacher relation.

The purpose of my reflection is to show the importance of getting something started at the first session. It turned out that it turned on each one’s fantasy: everybody started interpreting, associating with, improvising over what he/she felt watching this picture.

The moment ‘once again’ became Kings & Queens of Surprise, and we as a small group had the luck to contribute!

To me a one-to-one relationship is far too individual and delicate to be put into any formula, each situation is always completely new, resulting in an endless circle of reflection = improvisation = moment = reflection = improvisation = moment = reflection = improvisation = moment….
