Bernard Lanskey is Director of the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, National University of Singapore. From 1994-2006, he was Assistant Director of Music at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama London. Currently Chair of the South East Asia Directors of Music Association, he is active as a pianist, scholar, recording producer, festival director and on international competition juries, most recently as the President of the jury of the Geneva International Piano Competition. Since 2005, he has also been an Artist-in-Residence at La Loingtaine, France. Recent performances as pianist have included duo recitals in Australia, China, Singapore, Switzerland and the UK with Felicitas Fuchs (soprano), Qin Li Wei (cello), Qian Zhou (violin) and Renaud Capucon (violin) amongst others.
