Roman Krejci (Czech Republic) began studying music and guitar at the age of seventeen. Two years later (1993), he went onto study at the Janacek Conservatory Ostrava where he studied under the guidance of Prof. Bohumila Kunzova. During this early stage Roman gave a number of performances as well as recorded for Czech Radio. In 1998 Roman studied at the Music Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts under Milan Zelenka and Stepan Rak. He premiered pieces by several Czech contemporary composers and also played them live on Czech Radio. In 2004, he performed in the Parliament of the Czech Republic on the occasion of the 145th day of birth anniversary of the first Czech president, T. G. Masaryk, and has played concerts in several European countries. Currently, he is teaching at Conservatorium Maastricht as an assistant to Carlo Marchione.
