Tineke Steenbrink studied the Organ in Utrecht with Bernhard Winsemius and Willem Tanke; as well as the Harpsichord with Professor Ketil Haugsand at the Hochschule für Musik Köln. Steinbrink’s study there was sponsored by the Dutch ‘Fund for stage performance’ and by VSB Bank, she then graduated in 2004. Steenbrink has collaborated with Cappella Amsterdam, Concerto Köln, Vocal Consort Berlin and Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin. Since 2006 Tineke has been a major-teacher of the Harpsichord and a vocal coach at the ‘ArtEZ School of Music’. At the age of 18 Steinbrink played the famous Severijn-organ (from 1650) for the St Martinuskerk in Cuijk. Tineke is one of the founders of Holland Baroque Society. With her twin sister Judith (violin) she has played music since Kindergarten; the sisters now play as professionals in the ensemble ‘SEVERIJN’.
